Thank you to everyone who took part in the NS10 Charity Walk on the 23rd May 2026.
We were overwhelmed by the incredible support from our walkers, volunteers, sponsors, friends and families. Together, 22 walkers helped raise £11,000 to support the work of the Niall Stringer Foundation. Your generosity and commitment made the day a huge success.
A Walk to Remember
What started as a conversation around the kitchen table between Mel, Calum, Phil, Charlie and Mads about how they could raise money for the Charity soon became an abitious challenge - an - 18 - mile walk from King John School to Old Brentwood Rugby Club.
Before we knew it, the day had arrived. Niall's PE teacher, Mr Webb, helped send us on our way, and 22 walkers set off determined to make a difference.
The day was emotional, inspiring and, at times, very tiring. However, the incredible support from everyone involved made every mile worthwhile. The encouragement from fellow walkers, volunteers, friends and family created a truly special atmosphere throughout the day.
Arriving at Old Brentwood Rugby Club and seeing the number of people who had come to welcome us was an unforgettable moment. We were delighted to be greeted by Heather Small, whose support helped make the occasion even more memorable.
Together, we rasied an incredible £11,000, exceeding our fundraising target. These funds will help provide Mental Health First Aid Training and enable The Niall Stringer Foundation to continue supporting those who need it most.
Thank you to everyone who walked, volunteered, donated and cheered us on. This achievement belongs to all of you
