May 1st Memorial Day
May 1st 2022 was a memorial game in memory of Niall.
The event saw his dad and his four brothers play in the game, with many friends and supporters also taking part in his honour.
We were very lucky to invite Christophe Ridley, a professional rugby referee in England, to attend and referee the game. He happily agreed and was able to support the event.
The event raised over £30,000, with donations coming from rugby players to celebrities. These included signed rugby shirts, signed balls, an Eastenders street sign, and a signed suit donated by Neil Hannon of The Divine Comedy, given to us by tour manager Warren Kennedy. The generosity was incredible and showed the impact Niall's story had.
Christy from Jageto designed the now - famous 'pink shirts' featuring #NS10 - with at least £5.00 from every shirt sold donated to the day.
Elly from Zatyka + Cole hand - made NS10 keyrings, with 50% of the profit donated to the day.
